Father, this is absolutely splendid! I am just overwhelmed by the beauty of what you and your good people have done with the sanctuary. I want to move to Detroit and go to church at Holy Incarnation (don't tell Monsignor Mangels, though). At the very least I'll come and visit!

I can't quite make it out... is that the San Damiano cross in the photograph?

Well, for the most part. It's actually not THE San Damiano cross. :) Neither is it a completely faithful reproduction, but it is pleasingly close.

Heart-wrenchingly beautiful!

I had the pleasure of visiting your parish during the Western Rite Conference you helped to host, and I was quite impressed with what you had then. Now, it has surpassed all my expectations. You and your congregation have truly made something beautiful for God, something that will lift up the hearts of the faithful to the eternal liturgy around the throne of Almighty God.

Expect me to visit some time!
